Kelta HR is seeking an experienced HR Administrator for our client in the education sector, based in Hassocks, near Burgess Hill. The school has circa 160 staff and 1200 pupils.
Reporting to the Business Manager, the HR Administrator will work independently to provide HR support, so must be willing to pull their sleeves up and take responsibility. This is a HR Generalist role with a focus on recruitment. This role covers all aspects of HR, including on boarding/off boarding, holiday/absence, administration, recruitment, grievance/disciplinary, training, HR support and advice. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance in terms of safer recruitment and other relevant legislation.
The successful candidate will have a background in HR and a minimum of 5 GCSE's. Experience of the education sector would be beneficial, as well as experience of SIMS. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong administration skills are essential. A certificate in Safer Recruitment in Education and CIPD qualification is desirable.
