Our client, based in the heart of Brighton is a growing technology company, creating world changing health and wellness technology products. They are looking for a Head of People to join their highly skilled, multidisciplinary team, working on some truly innovative and exciting projects.
The Head of People is a key member of the Leadership Team. Reporting to the Business Owners/Board, the over-riding focus of this strategic role is to build a strong performance and learning culture within a growth model. The current headcount is 20.
As Head of People, your brief is to lead, drive and deliver the people & business strategy to encourage maximum performance, whilst ensuring that people remain at the heart of what they do.
This technology design business is a company of talented individuals with strong personalities; balancing people and business objectives should not be underestimated. You will take the lead in developing a culture that enables employees to flourish in parallel with achieving strategic objectives.
There are 2 direct reports as part of the People Team and the role reports into the CEO. The CEO is also joint founder & comes from an academic Doctorate background, who is hugely successful in design engineering. This role is also to be his right-hand person & buffer in everything people.
If you have experience of leading a HR or People Team in a technically orientated business, are highly numerate and have experience of sitting on a Board, working on Company strategy, managing upwards and working with technical teams then this role is a fantastic opportunity to be at the early stages of growth and shape the culture and people strategy.
