Kelta HR are seeking an experienced Standalone HR Manager for our client, an insurance company with a headcount of circa 130 located across two offices. This is a part-time role based in Burgess Hill, West Sussex for 21.75 hours a week, spread across 3-5 days.
Playing an integral part in the Operations Division, the HR Manager reports to the Operations Director. The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified and have a solid working knowledge of a broad range of HR functions. You will be confident to take ownership of all aspects of this HR role, rolling your sleeves up to get things done, as well as completing complex HR management projects and as working at a strategic level with the Directors to help move the business forward.
Responsibilities of the HR Manager include managing the day-to-day aspects of HR, including performance, guiding managers, developing the new HRIS, being responsible for employee wellbeing, career development, developing employee engagement, managing talent and updating policies and procedures. Being able to drive staff development forward is key to the success of this role and you will also play a vital part in helping to adopt best practices and improve the Gold Investors in People accreditation.
The ideal candidate will have worked in a senior HR capacity previously, such as Head of HR or HR Director and is now seeking a change of pace and more of a work/life balance.
