Kelta HR is seeking an experienced, standalone HR Manager for our client a small, successful manufacturing company, based in Portsmouth. The business comprises mainly factory workers, but also office staff and drivers. The staff are very loyal and many have been with the business 10-15 years.
The brand-new position of part-time HR Manager, reporting to the Directors, requires the creation of the HR department to bring all HR related matters up-to-date. You must be willing to pull your sleeves up, providing hands on support as the point of contact for all HR issues. This standalone HR Generalist role covers all aspects of HR, including on boarding/off boarding, holiday/absence, administration, recruitment, grievance/disciplinary, training, HR support and advice. It will require the creation of contracts, policies etc.
To be considered for this position you must have worked in a similar role either in a standalone capacity or working for a small company in a fast-paced environment. You will be happy to work autonomously. You will have experience of setting up a HR department from scratch and possess longevity in your career. Experience of manufacturing and a CIPD qualification is desirable.
