Kelta HR is seeking a part-time Employee Relations Investigating Officer for our client, a national charity, based in Burgess Hill.

The Employee Relations Investigator is responsible for completing complex HR investigations across a designated area of the organisation, to establish the facts in each case - interviewing employees and witnesses to record this information accurately and succinctly and then making recommendations regarding next steps. You will be responsible for providing Managers with all the information they require to make good people decisions. You will also assist Managers to complete less complex investigations, by coaching and advising on ER processes.

The successful candidate will have previous ER case experience including grievance, disciplinary and attendance management, along with experience of presenting information in formal meetings. Experience of the care or education sector would be beneficial. Knowledge of CQC, H&S and SOVA would be beneficial.

The role is 19.25 hours Monday to Friday, but there does need to be some flexibility on when these are worked as some evening calls may be required (however this is pre-planned). The position is remote working but travel to the Burgess Hill office will be required 1-2 times a month.
