Permanent HR Officer - 30 - 39 hours per week. Eastbourne 35,000 - 40,000 FTE
This is a full-time permanent role. It can also be considered across 4 full days.
A high-tech engineering company, based in Eastbourne, with a current UK business headcount of 100, is looking to recruit a full generalist HR Officer.
The HR Officer position is a varied generalist role.
Part of a global business, there is planned UK growth across the next few years. Day to day the role will report in to the HR Manager. They will act as a coach & mentor and develop the HR Officer. The role is part of the global HR team and there will be opportunities to be involved in global cross-border HR projects.
The UK site is only based in Eastbourne with both the head office and manufacturing located on the same site. (60 in the head office and 40 in the factory, plus an additional 10 agency on top).
The business is committed to career and professional development and you will have a key role in this, including succession planning. You will be responsible for identifying training and development needs including organising and delivering training activity and overseeing their apprenticeship scheme.
You will need:
• Good generalist HR background
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• CIPD qualification or working towards completion
It would be great if you have:
• Experience working with Workday (HRIS)
• Lean Six Sigma
• Previous Manufacturing/Engineering HR experience (not essential)
