F/T permanent HR Business Partner - Lewes - £35k-£40k
An exciting opportunity to join the small HR team of this renowned profitable charity as a HR Business Partner.
This is a generalist role to provide advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures, legislation and union agreements.
Reporting directly into the Head of HR, you will own and manage the employee relations casework, building strong relationships, and working together with senior stakeholders across the business.
You will advise and support managers with recruitment and selection; assist in the development, delivery and evaluation of L&D activities,
promote and implement talent development initiatives as well as supporting health and well-bring of employees.
A very hands on approach for day to day generalist HR responsibilities as well as proactively working on several HR projects in collaboration with other team members.
The ideal candidate will need to possess:
Excellent working knowledge and understanding of current employment legislation.
Strong interpersonal communication and relationship building skills
Thorough working experience of resolving complex employee relations cases
Some experience of design and delivery of learning interventions
Experience of recruiting a broad range of roles
Some knowledge of working with Trade Unions
In return you will receive a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000, 20 days holidays plus 2 weeks Christmas closure, subsidised restaurant, as well as other attractive offerings.
