Our client based in Haywards Heath area is seeking an HR Assistant to support the HR Director in the provision of an efficient and professional HR service.
This is a customer focused role providing effective support across the HR function with particular focus on recruitment, employee records and operational HR administration.
£22,700 - £25,885
Monday - Friday on-site (flexibility during school holidays regarding hours and remote working)
3 month FTC with a view of extending to permanent
Preparation of job descriptions, person specifications, advertisements and information packs
Ensure effective communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the selection process. Acting as the first point of contact
Managing company website
Track applications, prepare shortlisting packs and arranging interviews
Support the HR Director in the administration of new starter paperwork
Ensure all pre-employment checks are carried out promptly including references and qualifications
Be familiar with the employment policies and procedures and answer basic queries
Ensure all probationary periods are suitably diarised
Liaise with line managers regarding Return to Work meetings
Support the employee absence management process
Produce absence reports
Assist with the related administration and updating of the HR database
Assist in the coordination of the performance development appraisal process
Assist in the management of the leaving process for employees and provide references for past employees
Assist with other HR projects where required and any other task the HR Director might reasonably request to support the smooth running of the HR function
This client is seeking a strong CIPD level 3, HR Assistant with approximately 2 years experience working within a HR support role.
Your own transport is essential due to the location
