People Advisor level – Hybrid (Full Time, Fixed-Term Contract)
Contract: FTC until August 2026
Location: Reigate (2–3 days per week onsite) + flexible/home working
Salary: £41,585 per annum + benefits
Hours – 36hrs per week
Travel: Occasional travel to sites across Surrey
Our client, based close to Reigate, is looking for a HR generalist at an experienced HR Advisor level to support and upskill managers/Team Leaders, who are managing a departmental work-force of 550
They’re looking for a proactive HR Advisor, on a fixed-term contract, until August 2026, with experience of working in a larger fast-paced environment.
Experience must also include advising on absence and performance management, and upskilling managers
Reporting to the Workforce People & Development Manager and working closely with the operational managers, you will provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to frontline managers, helping them navigate a wide range of people matters with confidence and consistency, including managing absence and performance.
What you’ll be doing in this varied and rewarding role, you will:
Act as the first point of contact for managers seeking advice on HR policies, procedures, and best practice.
Support managers with low-level employee relations casework, ensuring prompt and fair resolution.
Provide guidance on absence management, helping to reduce and manage high levels of absence.
Coach and support line managers with performance management processes and conversations.
Help employees and managers understand and implement HR policies effectively.
